Vīb Hotel

Vīb is a new hotel located in the heart of Denver’s River North Art District (RiNo). The new hotel is part of the Best Western family of hotels and places visitors to the city just minutes from attractions like the National Western Complex, the Denver Coliseum, Mission Ballroom, Coors Field and so much more.

Douglass Colony was integral to the hotel construction process with our FRAMECAD technology, an advanced end-to-end cold formed steel frame design and manufacturing solution which enables us to prefabricate wall frames in our shop. All in all, we framed 6 levels of load bearing walls above a concrete podium, all in record time. In fact, working with FRAMECAD requires just a quarter of the time needed for traditional framing techniques.

After the framing was complete, we also pre-sheathed the exterior walls with air barriers, minimizing the work to be performed on site . To complete this project we partnered with TWC Management, White Construction Group, and LPI Construction.
