Urban Peak Solar

Solar

Urban Peak is Douglass Colony Group’s latest solar project completion. The building is a vital shelter located in the City of Denver, serving at-risk youth experiencing homelessness. Urban Peak is dedicated to empowering young individuals by providing them with the support and resources needed to transition out of homelessness and build self-determined, fulfilling lives.

As part of this effort, Douglass Colony installed a 41.18 kW solar energy system featuring custom bi-facial Lumos Solar Modules. These high-efficiency panels not only provide clean, renewable energy but also help reduce the shelter’s operating costs, allowing more funding to be allocated toward essential youth services. By integrating sustainable technology, this project ensures that Urban Peak can continue to provide critical support while minimizing its environmental impact.

Urban Peak transformed an aging, overcrowded shelter into a thriving, state-of-the-art campus designed to meet the complex needs of homeless youth. Douglass Colony is proud to be part of this initiative, demonstrating how renewable energy solutions can support both sustainability and social responsibility. Through this partnership, we are helping to create a brighter, more sustainable future for the young individuals who rely on Urban Peak’s services.
