Highlands Ranch Library
Douglass Colony recently completed a comprehensive roofing and metal renovation at the Highlands Ranch Library, a vital public resource serving the local community. This project focused on upgrading the library’s roofing system to enhance durability, energy efficiency, and long-term protection against the elements. The scope of work included roofing, waterproofing, FRAMECAD, metals, and maintenance services, ensuring a seamless integration of high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship.
The 21,200-square-foot renovation featured a combination of flat and barrel roofing systems tailored to the library’s unique architectural design. For the flat roofs, Douglass Colony installed a Carlisle 135mil Fleece Back TPO Rapid Lock system in Grey, applied over ½” Secure Shield HD board to enhance insulation and durability. The barrel roofs received the same high-performance TPO system, complemented by Décor ribs for added aesthetic appeal, installed over flute fill insulation for maximum efficiency. This upgrade ensures long-term weather resistance and improved structural integrity.
Completed in March 2025, this project reinforces Douglass Colony’s expertise in delivering high-quality commercial roofing and metal solutions for public institutions. By implementing advanced waterproofing techniques and premium materials, the Highlands Ranch Library is now equipped with a roofing system that offers superior performance, sustainability, and longevity. Douglass Colony is proud to contribute to the preservation and modernization of such an important community space.
