Hotel Polaris: Air Force Academy Hotel & Event Center
Douglass Colony Group proudly contributed to the construction of the Air Force Hotel, Hotel Polaris, a significant project that enhances both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the facility. Our involvement encompassed a range of specialized services, including:
- Roofing: We installed a robust roofing system featuring Carlisle’s 60mil White TPO over fully tapered insulation, all adhered using foam adhesive. This ensures durability and weather resistance for the hotel.
- Composite Metal Panels: We expertly crafted composite metal panel columns on the Level 9 North Patio, enhancing the structural integrity and visual appeal of the space.
- Soffits: The main restaurant bar was adorned with mirror composite metal panel soffits, adding a modern touch to the dining experience.
- Sheet Metal Coping: All copings were installed using high-quality Drexel Metal materials, providing both functionality and aesthetic harmony.
One of the standout features of our work is the ballroom roof, where we created an eye-catching pattern using three different colors of Carlisle TPO. This not only adds a unique visual element but also reflects our commitment to quality and creativity in design.
