Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Roofing Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial roofing and a proven track record of successfully leading crews in a commercial setting. Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise roofing crews on commercial projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications and timelines.
• Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to plan and prioritize tasks, materials, and equipment needed for each project.
• Train and mentor roofing crew members, providing guidance on best practices, safety protocols, and job-specific techniques.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control measures, and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the course of a project, maintaining open communication with team members and management.
• Complete required paperwork, including daily job logs, safety reports, and time sheets, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Serve as a positive role model for team members, promoting a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with demonstrated expertise in various roofing systems and materials including composite sheet metal.
• Proven track record of successfully leading crews in a commercial roofing environment, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project goals.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA standards, and industry best practices related to roofing installation and construction.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a drug test and physical examination.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage sheet metal roofing projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
• Lead a team of skilled roofers and laborers, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Install, repair, and maintain sheet metal roofing systems, including ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) roofing.
• Monitor project progress, address any issues, and maintain accurate records.
• Uphold company standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 5 of experience in commercial sheet metal roofing, including ACM systems.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in sheet metal installation, flashing, and fabrication.
• Safety Conscious: Committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Communication: Strong communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and vendors.
• Valid Driver’s License: Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Physical Fitness: Able to perform physically demanding tasks and work at heights.
• Certifications: OSHA 30, NRCA are a plus.
