    Position Overview:
    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Roofing Estimator to join our growing team. This position is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for commercial roofing projects including reroofs, new construction, service repairs, sheet metal, waterproofing, and related exterior systems.

    The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, understands construction drawings and specifications, and can successfully manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment. This role works closely with the sales team, project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and operations to support successful project execution from preconstruction through project turnover.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare complete and accurate estimates for commercial roofing and exterior envelope projects
    • Review plans, specifications, addendums, and bid documents to develop detailed scopes of work
    • Perform quantity takeoffs for roofing systems, insulation, sheet metal, flashings, waterproofing, and related materials
    • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing to ensure competitive and complete proposals
    • Analyze labor, material, equipment, and production costs to develop competitive bid pricing
    • Identify scope gaps, exclusions, risk factors, and value-engineering opportunities
    • Prepare bid summaries, proposal packages, budgets, and cost breakdowns for management review
    • Attend pre-bid meetings, site walks, and scope review meetings as required
    • Coordinate with project managers and operations teams during project turnover to ensure a smooth handoff
    • Maintain relationships with general contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors
    • Stay current on roofing products, manufacturer specifications, market pricing, and industry trends
    • Assist with change order pricing, budgeting, and negotiated proposals as needed

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial roofing or commercial construction
    • Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, modified bitumen, metal roofing, coatings, and waterproofing systems
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, specifications, and contracts
    • Experience performing roofing takeoffs and developing detailed project estimates
    • Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, OST, EDGE, or similar platforms
    • Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills
    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple bids simultaneously
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills
    • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    Preferred Experience

    • Experience estimating commercial reroof, service, maintenance, and new construction roofing projects
    • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, flashing details, and building envelope systems
    • Familiarity with public bids, negotiated work, GMP projects, and private commercial construction
    • Understanding of manufacturer requirements and warranty processes
    • Experience with subcontractor buyouts, procurement, and project handoff procedures

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Inspector to join our team. The Safety Inspector will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of safety within our organization, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and promoting a safe working environment for all employees.

    Job Responsibilities:
    – Develop and implement safety plans and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agencies
    – Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
    – Provide education to employees on safety protocols, including first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures
    – Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
    – Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety programs that promote a culture of safety throughout the organization
    – Stay up to date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices.
    -Maintain our zero accident/tolerance culture on projects.
    – Assist with executing our safety strategy thru counseling and policy enforcement.
    – Monitor safety program implementation on jobs.
    – Conduct daily safety audits, inspection of equipment of several projects in the region.
    – Coordinate and ensure full compliance with all federal, state, local and company safety regulations.
    – Ensure projects have the necessary documentation SDS, Site Plan, Etc.
    – Record/forward electronic safety audits, incident/infraction reports, safety related meeting to Safety Director and team members involved.
    – Participate in all foreman meetings, OSHA trainings, preconstruction activities, jobsite safety meetings, and various training within the company.
    – Accident reporting and follow up with doctors.
    Job Requirements:
    – Formal safety training or direct experience.
    – Proven experience as a Safety Inspector or similar role in a Construction industry setting.
    – In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, and other relevant safety standards.
    – Must have a valid driver license and pass background check.
    – Experience in training development and delivery on safety topics.
    – Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing abilities.
    – Proficiency in using software applications for data analysis and reporting.
    – Computer skills in Microsoft windows, excel, PowerPoint, I-pad and email.
    – Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferable.
